i think i’m going to try something different. honestly i think i’m gonna cut inoxia down to another EP. my heart’s just not into doing as much as i’d need to do to make it a full album and i’d like to actually really start getting my name out.

another track for inoxia. full of #seapunk and melodies. it’s also got an atypical song structure.

go follow them!
i’m finally back from the dead (or being offline for a couple weeks at least).
trying some less ‘big’ sounds to work on my variety and dynamics. lots of melody work.
Hard DnB with a few breakdowns and drops into drumstep. Resampling is lotsa fun 8)
This is the first of a couple tracks that I’m releasing ahead of the final release of Inoxia to drum up hype for it. There may be some edits and mastering differences in the album version.
Done. 38)

Fun fact: After Witc)(ing )(our I’d always wanted to do a track more in spirit of the handmaid which is where i drew the idea for the name—from the Tomb of the Ancestor’s track, 0_0. I like to think of it as my crazy intense counterpart to the bizarreness and drama of that song (which happens to be one of my all-time favorite songs not just from homestuck but of everything).
Oh yeah, in case you can’t get enough of me I’m gonna really start making an effort soon to actually use my facebook, twitter, and youtube pages. For the time being, I don’t have a lot of free time so there’s not a lot of news going on but once the semester’s over I’ll be able to get a lot more done and have more news.
i updated this—but for reasons listed on the song’s info i’m prolly gonna scrap this track. there’s a small possibility i’ll finish it without vox. but i’m more likely just to recycle the techniques i learned while making this into a whole new track. anyway; enjoy.
also i’m finally on break so expect more stuff incoming over the next couple weeks.

Yo Zedd how’s this for shavin’ it up?? Told y’all I was getting better 38)
(This is without a doubt going to be the sickest track I’ve ever made.)
Like “The Hospital” this is an orphaned track. It’s just not up to the quality standard I’m setting for Inoxia. Anyway it’s free and all so whatever.
This is the full track. I’m uploading it now because I’ve decided to give this one the axe.

I think I’m gonna take a step back and pick up some more skills and revisit it. There are a lot of things I know I could do to make it much better despite not having the skill to implement them at the moment. In the end I may just release it on its own if I don’t think I’ll end up bringing it up to the standard I’ve set for my next full release.
While the full track may not be released yet, I’ve updated my art in relevant places for the time being to reflect the track like my twitter and new facebook musician page. If anything it’s ‘cause I was pretty antsy to move on from the Remnants EP and I was really proud of it since I started applying some new techniques in photoshop on this one and on the various associated images.
Copied from its Soundcloud page:
“The first track completed for my upcoming (eventually…) album entitled “Inoxia”. I’m going to try and reduce the number of tracks I fully release prior to the album’s final release so it feels more like a true LP release rather than a compilation of previous tracks like the Remnants EP was. Also, this gives me time to touch it up once I’m more knowledgeable by the time I release the full album.”
It’s tough to resist the urge to release every track fully, but I’ve gotta draw the line somewhere. With this track I’ve started learning how to resample albeit simply for the time being. I’m also really proud of the artwork I did for this one.
